ABOUT THE MAXIMUM SUPPORT UNDERWEAR

For maximum hernia management and when highest level of support is preferred. Garments in this category offer maximum support of the hernia, in order to prevent further bulge protrusion and without restricting stoma flow or causing leakage.

Garments in this category provide relief and assist mobility, thus improving quality of life. The garments are manufactured from soft, seamless, breathable and flexible material for optimum comfort and are designed to be worn all day. If preferred they can be used at night as well.

70% Polyamide, 30% Elastane. Latex Free

INDICATION
For postsurgical use after construction of a colostomy, an ileostomy or an urostomy.
For management of parastomal- or other abdominal hernias. For use with both 1- and 2-piece systems.

PRECAUTION
• Follow the Instructions for Use
• Follow recommendations given by your doctor or ostomy nurse
• Use the device according to the indications to avoid injury or damage
• Make sure the device is not compromising stoma and/or lung functions
• If your hernia is irreducible (cannot be returned by manipulation), seek the advice and guidance of
your ostomy nurse before using the device
• If any unexpected discomfort, stoma or skin irritation occurs, remove the device
• By urgent need for removal of the device, open with scissors
• Sizes overlap; if abdominal measurement lies between two sizes, choose the smaller size if you
prefer extra tight-fitting underwear, and the larger size if you prefer the underwear less tight
• Ensure that the underwear feels comfortable to wear, when sitting and standing
• The device may contain softening and antistatic agents up to 1.5%

How to choose your size:

1. Select your Corsinel waist height by hernia position and personal preference.
2. Lie down and measure waist size around the widest part of the bulge. Some people prefer a tighter garment, others a little looser.
